Microsoft and Google are the two best tech firms to work for in Israel, a new ranking by business analytics firm Dun & Bradstreet Israel shows.
Microsoft Israel’s R&D Center this year placed number one, holding the title from last year. Google Israel ranks second, up from third place in 2019. Advertising tech firm Ironsource jumped to third place from 8th last year, and software development firm Soluto ranked fourth – similar to last year. Gaming firm Playtica came in fifth, like in 2019.
Content discovery startup Taboola and Wix, the website creator platform, nabbed respectively sixth and seventh place, from second and ninth last year, and Facebook Israel ranked eighth, from sixth in 2019.
Intel Israel ranked ninth, from 11 last year, while Salesforce ranked 10th, unchanged from last year.
Dun & Bradstreet said that cybersecurity firm BigID, and Namogoo, a software as a service firm, were the two best Israeli startups to work for.
“The ranking of the best high-tech companies to work for, published for the sixth year, took place in the shadow of the Covid-19 crisis. One of the most significant parameters we examined was how companies dealt with the crisis, and what was the impact of the steps they took on employee satisfaction,” said Efrat Segev, VP of Data and Analysis at Dun & Bradstreet, in a statement.
Segev added that the firms in the ranking very quickly understood that their focus had to shift from providing “pampering designer offices” to focusing on the employees’ home environment – and meeting the physical needs of working from home and supporting the families of employees amid the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
